Due to changes in insurance requirements, NJMEA had to acquire a new General Liability Policy that includes Sexual Abuse and Molestation coverage. The Policy includes requirements for all our members that have student contact on behalf of NJMEA, our Regions, and our Affiliated organizations when sponsoring an NJMEA activity. These requirements include Criminal Background Checks, Sexual Abuse Registry Checks, and Abuse Training. These will need to be completed before any volunteer can participate in Region or All-State activities.
If you are planning to sponsor students for our auditions. Please fill out the google form attached. This form will be cross referenced with the director jotform before auditions. The NEW background check will be sent to you through the email provided approximately 2 weeks before the auditions.
